Nature Trail Reviews

Kolokee

Kolokee Loop Trail

Fun loop trail. Rained lightly the whole time but canopy kept most of it away. Little mud here and there but not too bad. Rainy weather made it very comfortable out. Stayed on one side of the loop both ways due to yellow jacket nest on otherwise side. Crossed several cool little footbridges where the path criss crossed the river. Highly recommend this trail if you are in the Orlando area.

Econ River

Econ River Wilderness Area

This is a beautiful trail that is mostly shaded and leads to several different bodies of water. There are many opportunities to observe wildlife and local plants along the way. There are other trails to connect to in the area if you would like to extend your trail.

Mills Creek (FAVORITE)

Beautiful trail with lots of different plants, butterflies, and bees. I had 4 deer sightings, one of them ran right across the trail in front of me! The hike in is a bit overgrown with grass and the wooded area had a few large spiderwebs you could walk face first into, definitely a less traveled hike but very well marked and worth it

Currents

Currents by Tame Impala

There's just no other indie pop album like this. It finds the perfect balance between 80s disco, psychedelic pop/rock, and R&B, the thing is just gorgeous. It's infectiously catchy, emotionally powerful, and compellingly psychedelic. It's also pretty much a concept album, and once you realize that, the lyrics and progression of each song get really interesting, and just so damn satisfying by the end.

UP

Under Pressure by Logic

Under Pressure is one of the most honest, realistic, respectable albums that have come out in while. Its good representation of telling the story of the struggle and of young man growing up and in and out of the struggle. This album perfectly paints a picture in your head of how growing up on welfare and around narcotics is and how it was daily routine for Logic. Logic is not just telling you what he sees he's painting the picture of what he's sees. He gives you chapters or events of his life through each track explaining his childhood his come up and things he's experienced growing up as child and into the young man he is today. Logic story telling is so strong with this album its something that makes the album very unique..

IYRTITL

If You're Reading This It's Too Late by Drake

Hands down Drake's best project. He really demonstrates his wide range of technical ability and story-telling on this album. On the tracks '6 God' and 'No Tellin', we hear the angry, shouty Drake; on 'Jungle' and 'Wednesday Night Interlude', it's the classic, R&B, pre-NWTS style Drake that we're familiar with. On the tracks 'Star67', 'You & The 6', and '6PM in New York', Drizzy dived deeper into his background and talked about his upbringing in Toronto, his relationship with his mother, and his position in the rap game. Overall a very enjoyable album; good beat selection, solid subject matter, collabs from Wayne and Travis Scott also help bring something different to the tone of the album. Standout tracks for me are 'Jungle', 'Star67', 'Know Yourself' and '6 Man'.
