Apply griptape to the skateboard deck. Make sure to smooth out all air bubbles and ensure that the entire board is covered with grip as such.(Get creative with the design too as shown below!)
Use something that won't be damaged by the griptape, such as a metal tool like a wrench, and press against the edges of the board until the griptape has turned white.
Use a tool such as an X-Acto knife in order to remove the excess griptape from the board.
Next, you will use your hardware in order to push through the 8 holes in the board from the bottom up
Now, you should have 8 indentations on the top side of the board which has griptape applied to it. Now, you want to take that hardware and push it through these indentations.
Since the hardware is pushed through, we can grab the trucks and attach them accordingly to the four bolt ends on the graphic side of the deck, ensure that the kingpin of the truck(large nut in middle of axle) is facing inward as shown below.
Take the nuts included with the hardware and tighten them with the skate tool until the trucks are snugly attached to the board.
Set the deck aside and grab your wheels and bearings.
Push bearings into both sides of all wheels, and make sure that the colored side of the bearing is facing outward.
Now that all bearings have been attached, put a wheel on each of the axle ends exposed on the trucks.
Tighten the nuts that came with the trucks to secure the wheels to the axle, do this until there is just enough space between the bearings and nut to allow the wheel to spin freely.
CONGRATULATIONS! You have just finished your first skateboard build, now go out and do some skating!
