The picture above is of Augusta National's famous and historic 12th Hole, Par 3 "Rae's Creek".
Although it looks like a simple shot the over the water the trees surrounding the green cause
wind direction to change in an instant making this one of the hardest Par 3's on the PGA Tour.
Based on the loft of the club you use determines how far the ball can travel.
An example of this is the Par 3 in the picture above, a pro would choose a club
between an 8 Iron and Pitching Wedge to approach the green.
