Augusta National 12th Hole Rae's Creek

The picture above is of Augusta National's famous and historic 12th Hole, Par 3 "Rae's Creek".
Although it looks like a simple shot the over the water the trees surrounding the green cause
wind direction to change in an instant making this one of the hardest Par 3's on the PGA Tour.

Some of the reasons why golf is my favorite sport:

  1. It's fun going out and playing with friends
  2. The sport is very competitive
  3. It is very difficult to play
  4. When hit a good shot you feel satisfied

Some of the places I've played:

Club Selection

Based on the loft of the club you use determines how far the ball can travel.
An example of this is the Par 3 in the picture above, a pro would choose a club
between an 8 Iron and Pitching Wedge to approach the green.

The Table Below Shows You What A Professional Might Have In Their Bag Along With Each Club's Distance:

Driver 3 Wood 5 Wood 4 Iron 5 Iron 6 Iron 7 Iron 8 Iron 9 Iron Pitching Wedge Approach Wedge Sand Wedge
